I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom of 6, four of which live at home. When I was little all I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a wife and mom. I was born a generation too late for that to be the norm, but I've done it anyway! I love to bake cakes and cookies. I also love to throw something in the crock pot and smell it cooking all day on a cold winter day. My cooking, like my lifestyle is very seasonal tho. IN the summer we do alot of grilling and I make an awesome grilled chicked salad. My mom was famous for her dressing which she only made at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She made sure to pass the recipe on to me so now it is MY dressing. I can pull off a huge holiday dinner for a crowd while tending to a baby, special needs toddler and two bored lil boys! Ther haven't been alot of tragedies. I do remember one time trying to make a bean soup and for sime reason if truned out being just a lot of different beans in a bowl and the kids didn't eat much of it.
