Hot Artichoke Dip with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Excellent twist on the traditional dip. I used pita triangles and the small pumpernickel bread as the base. Everyone loved it.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

I found this recipe a couple of years ago, but never rated it. I made it and have done so several times. It has become a staple in our house. Very tasty, easy to put together and makes a good amount.

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

The garlic butter sauce was perfect and so easy to get a steak house dish in a short time with a lot less money and I think more, better taste.

Dill Pickle Meatloaf

Great dish! I added about 1 Tablespoon of hot green salsa to the meat to kick it up a little. That was the only change I made. I was dubious about the pickles, but now I may ALWAYS do this.

Gyro Steak Salad (with Tzatziki dressing)

We had this tonight using left over steak we grilled yesterday. It was fabulous. I had the ingredients, so I made my own lime vinaigrette instead of using bottled.

I had to leave out the chocolate and substitute V8 with a little added water for the chicken broth. Believe it or not, it worked. I've been meaning to try this for years and I'm so glad I did. It was excellent. Of course, I did heat it up with some cayenne and extra cumin. Want to make more soon!!!!

Orange-Ginger Fruit Dip

Turkey Avocado Sandwiches

I used salsa since I had no taco sauce. It was a nice change for a turkey sandwich. Anytime I use hot sauce my husband is happy.

Szechuan Spicy Eggplant

We love this dish. I've made it without the shrimp and I've used some roasted chicken for the meat. It was excellent each time. Thanks for a new way to fix eggplant.

Curried Cumin Potatoes

We just had this tonight and it was fabulous. I thought the 2 t of salt was a bit much, so I cut that down. Only problem is between the two of us, we ate almost the WHOLE thing in one sitting!

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

I tried this recipe when I happened to have an abundance of mushrooms. Several different types and my husband and I ate almost the entire pot that night. I've made it quite often since then and thinking about it now makes me want some.

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

I made this recipe last night and sent a loaf to work with my husband. He just emailed me and said it disappeared quickly and one of his co-workers wanted the recipe. It was quite easy to put together. The only drawback was the mess I had to clean up after chopping, mashing and mixing. It's not the usual banana nut bread and most people will welcome this very moist and fresh tasting loaf.
