Peanut Butter Pie

I highly recommend the Smooth and Creamy Peanut Butter Pie from this site. I discovered it last fall and I have made it several times. The last time I made it was for Thanksgiving, along with a pumpkin pie!

It has a very smooth, creamy, and rich taste. A sweet tooth or a love of peanut butter may be a requirement for this one. This recipe is very easy to prepare with a limited amount of ingredients needed. Over the weekend, I decided to make it again, although I didn't have a regular size pie crust on hand, I had two packages of mini or individual size pie crusts. Half were chocolate grahm and the others were honey grahm, so I used those. I plan on making a regular size peanut butter pie this weekend for a dinner party we are going to.

I top mine by putting some whipped cream or Cool Whip in a pastry bag and using a tip, I pipe it on the pie instead of speading it. I drizzle Smuckers caramel and chocolate sauce over the top and I follow up by crushing Reese's and sprinkling them on top.

Best served straight from the fridge.

Have you ever tried peanut butter pie? What do you think of it?

Ditto. and the individual size pies look so cute. My daughters would have a kick if I served this as a dessert.

I have been snacking on the individual sized ones, I am averaging two pies a day! Yikes! I can't help it, they are so delicious!

That looks great! I don't think I have ever had peanut butter pie...I looked at the recipe and was surprised to see how few ingredients there are...I will have to wait to make this until the next time we house sit because my fridge isn't big enough to chill a pie! Thanks!

About Me
I am a stay at home mom to our three year old daughter, Alexa. I have a great husband and a precious cat named Haylee. I love taking care of my home and my family. I am very much into natural health and medicine, but I bake and eat a lot of sweets! I grew up on a farm in Iowa and now I am very much at home in San Diego.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking a wide variety of cookies, cakes and candies, that is my specialty. I also love making homemade cheesy broccoli soup, baked ziti, cheddar cheese fondue and macaroni and cheese.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My toddler daughter loves to help me bake. I remember watching my mother bake when I grew up and she instilled that passion to bake in me. I am thinking that my daughter will turn out the same way. She has her own apron, mini baking sheets, cookie cutters and she helps me each and every time I bake.
My cooking triumphs
I tempered chocolate and I also made soft caramels, I consider those my triumphs at the moment.
My cooking tragedies
I have been trying to make candy from scratch. I failed several times at trying to make the fondant for candy and truffle centers, I decided to put my candymaking book away for a while. I have made caramel from scratch, but I still need to work at getting the right consistency so I can wrap them or dip them in chocolate.
