Chili-Lime Chicken Kabobs
I've only done the kabobs once, but use this marinade for chicken frequently when grilling. My husband and I both love it! It's not a strong flavor, more subtle compared to other marinades or seasonings I use, but it makes a great fit for whatever you'll be having with it. And its easy!

Aunt Hazel's Apple Oatmeal Cookies
Not a perfect 5, but still very good. Turned out quite moist and I did add the glaze (with some cinnamon added) and that did add a lot to the cookie. I omitted the nuts and used 2 apples though 1 1/2 probably would've been better. Chopped one finely and shredded the other. Added a pinch of cloves just because I like that when cooking with apples.

Apple Squares
LOVE these! So moist they fall apart easily but they're SO good! I doubled the recipe, used 2 good sized apples, cut the sugars to 3/4c each (which was plenty) and added 1/4c applesauce. Delicious! My husband would prefer this to chocolate cake!
