German Chocolate Cake Frosting II
About this Cook
I love to be active, and I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy trying a variety of foods and restaurants, and staying healthy and fit is very important to me. And of coarse I love to cook! I love making desserts and brunch, but I'm always up for baking anything!
My favorite things to cook
Cakes, cookies, and muffins are always fun to make. I love to make pancakes, and "night before" French toast. I make a pretty mean turkey burger and killer meatballs. I can also make a pretty tasty pizza, as well as delicious home-made bread. And I love a good chicken ceaser salad! Over-all I'm a pretty well rounded chef. The only thing I don't like to do very often is deep frying. I'm always coming up with new ways to make things taste better or different!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas: Creamy cheesy mashed potato casserole Honey baked ham Home-made white bread Different varieties of cheesecake Blueberry stuffed french toast for breakfast Thanksgiving: Classic Turkey Classic home-made stuffing Apple-Cranberry sauce Pecan Pie with whipped cream of coarse! Easter: Special french toast, easter 1. Blueberry stuffed french toast 2. To die for cinnamon crunch french toast 3. Banana stuffed french toast 4. Apple cinnamon strudel french toast 5. Hopefully we can find a delicious new recipe! (or we sometimes make classic fluffy pancakes)

Coconut Bread
3 words: TO DIE FOR. This light, yet perfectly dense and moist cake was sweet, flavorful, and extremely satisfying! Instead of 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and almond extract, I added 3/4 teaspoon of each. The almond flavoring really compliments the coconut! Next time I make this (because I will be making this again) I will add some coconut extract, as it isn't quite "coconuty" enough for me. This bread is more like cake, but it it's delicious none-the-less. The sugar that you sprinkle on top causes the top to get perfectly slightly brown, crispy, and beautiful and is my favorite part of the bread. Thanks for the recipe! Amazing! P.S. I added half Splenda and it still turned out great, you can't even tell I used it.

German Chocolate Cake Frosting II
5 STARS. Hands down, one of the best frostings I've EVER had the pleasure of tasting. Thick, sweet, and extremely flavorful! I could just make the frosting to eat by itself it was so tasty. We frosted it on top of German chocolate cake II, and then drizzled caramel over the top, which complemented the frosting very nicely. I won't make any other German cake frosting from now on!

German Chocolate Cake II
I have no idea what anybody is talking about, with the icing not being thick enough? Our icing was the consistency of average icing, and may I add that it was one of the most tasty icings I've every out into my mouth? DE-licious! I have to say though, that this cake was not very chocolaty, so next time I will add an extra square of chocolate and some cocoa powder. We drizzled some caramel on top, so it made it look even prettier, and made it taste even better! Instead of German chocolate cake this was more like gooey caramel cake. But we didn't care, we all ate every last bite! A very moist and flavorful cake, I will definetly make this again. (Oh, and don't worry, the batter should be very puffy)Delicious, thank you for the recipe!
