These were out of this world good! If you are in the mood for a sweet treat, please make these. The "filling" is almost like a cream cheese frosting,after you fold in the whipped cream it is total fluffy sweetness. I threw in some blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries to the mix. So good.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

At first I was not going to use the spinach as called for in this recipe. I love spinach in all forms, however my dad and brother gag at the sight! But I decided to sneak it in there and they didn't even notice. Actually everyone in the household LOVED them...I got several compliments! I baked them instead of frying, that way I wouldn't feel so bad for smothering them in sour cream and avacados!

Roasted Turkey Legs

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving. My boyfriend didn't want to try it out, he's a whimp. So I just made mine with the sauce. He ended up wanting to eat mine! Go figure. just the way I like it, with the ends crunchy and flavored with sauce. It seemed to put a glaze with crunchy juiciness. I also ended up using the sauce on a pork roast, not as good as the turkey legs but still very moist.

Cowboy Skillet Casserole

This recipe was good. I changed it up a little by adding some cream of mushroom soup and chili sauce to the mix. I used taco seasoning instead, and used half of a red pepper and half orange. I added corn and used blackbeans. I also topped the mixture with cheese before pouring the cornbread over it. And then more cheese on top of the cornbread when it was close to being done. The family loved it.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

Yummy! seemed like too many onions for my style, so I only used one medium. The meat turned out so tender. Coating with flour and browning in a skillet was the key. I used beef boulian instead of water in the flour mixture at the end of cooking. It made an excellent gravy. Comfort food all the way!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This was my first attempt at making bread. It turned out excellent and was very moist. Didn't have to worry about it breaking into smitherines when spreading butter on it. I recieved lots of compliments on this one. Thanks for the recipe.

Mom's Country Gravy

I don't understand how on earth this recipe recieved any high ratings. Its a good thing I tasted it before pouring it all over my omlet. It pretty much tasted like flour with oil. I would not advise anyone to try this recipe. Much better off with the store bought pouches.

Salsa Chicken

This is one of the easiest recipes ever, and it is also excellent tasting. The chicken was juicy and tender. I added taco sauce, hot sauce, and some chopped zuchinni to the salsa. I served it along with sweet white corn. very good!

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

These are the best onion rings in the world! YUM! Well worth that hell of a mess they made. I didn't have enough bread crumbs so I combined them with pretzels. And also added cayenne pepper and garlic powder. Fantastic!

Richard and Suzanne's Famous Spaghetti Sauce

This sauce was excellent. My boyfriend likes thin sauce so i figured i'd give it a try. I added some italian seasoning to mine, and also some finely chopped pre cooked Italian sausage. Thanks for the recipe Richard and suzanne.

Parmesan Spinach Balls

I made these along with a thin spaghetti sauce. They actually taste like meat balls! Great healthy substitute. I added some chopped artichoke hearts to mine. Yum. I will definitely suggest this recipe to my vegetarian friends.

Hot German Potato Salad III

This salad struck my fancy because it doesn't contain mayo and it has bacon. I used a few extra slices in mine, I also sprinkled green onions on top. My boyfriend even liked it, and he hates vinegar. He put some sour cream on top, making it more baked potatoish. Great flavors! I will for sure make it again in the future.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

I made this sauce with some sliced German sausage made by our local BBQ restaurant. I am really picky about my BBQ sauce, this stuff was GOOD! I simmered it a little longer and added a splash of beer, it seemed to meld the flavors. The german sausage blended really well with the tangy sauce. YUM.

Best Carolina BBQ Meat Sauce

I tried this sauce on some BBQ chicken. No one in my family cared for it, my boyfriend wouldn't even finish his. Guess it's just not our taste. Way too tangy, the amount of mustard used is crazy!
