Old Fashioned Onion Rings

This was very authentic to the restaurant/pub style onion ring. They were a bit bland though. Next time I will add some spices. I also used the plastic bag technique, but the coating didn't adhere very well. They need to sit a bit for the coating to stick.

Pro Ganache

Following the directions to the letter this recipe ended up thin and runny for me. I needed to beat this near to the point of curdling inorder to get it think enough to spread. I would go with less cream more chocolate and perhaps some butter next time.

Pork-n-Beans Cake

Awesome! Banana/Zucchini/Pumpkin bread-ish. Kinda on the sweet side, but great texture, color, and flavor. I wish I had the cans because that would just add to the class of the whole thing.

Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

I did something unique and followed this recipe EXACTLY AS DIRECTED! (So this review is actually for the recipe not a variation) Diggin' the whole whole wheat thing and I love honey as a sweetener. It rose nicely and had great texture, but it lacked in flavor. Without the walnuts it would have been too bland. The techniques were great though, I will definitely bring them over to some other recipes. Not bad, but not stellar.
