Hi! I have been cooking since I was very little, maybe even 2(helped mom of course) and I love it! I have been the supervisor for a salad bar at Focus on the Family, a supervisory chef for Aramark, and a lead chef for Aramark. I am currently a stay at home mom for a sweet little 8 week old boy!
My favorite things to cook
Things with a little more detail, but not necessarily more time. I love to make lasagna and manicotti, enchiladas, and casseroles. Oh, and good sandwiches!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I enjoy making peanut butter balls, chex mix, and cut-out cookies for Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
I have entered multiple cooking competitions, mainly in breads,food preservation, and other baking. I have received several grand champion ribbons and a few plaques.
My cooking tragedies
I remember once when I was about 10 I made brownies but accidentally put twice the amount of oil it was supposed to have. It was a very greasy brownie. :-( But my dad said he liked it anyway. :-)
