Smooth Sweet Tea
Awesome recipe!! I've never been able to make good iced tea, though I've lived in southern Virginia most of my life, so this is a great day! Smooth and perfectly sweetened tea ... made by me. :P The baking soda, as so many others have agreed, did the trick on the bitterness. I doubled the recipe and used four family-sized tea bags. Since I didn't have a glass pitcher, I used my trusty Rubbermaid one, filling it to the spout with cold water after the sugar dissolved (about eleven cups). I will definitely use this recipe on a regular basis. Thank you!

Robbi's M&M Cookies
I made these for my husband, and he loved them! The only thing I changed was to use 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup butter-flavored shortening (instead of a full cup of shortening), as other reviewers had suggested. They're a bit too salty for my taste, but I only had unsalted butter, so I added 1/3 tsp salt. I won't do that again, but I will use this recipe again!

Sugar Cookie Frosting
Great frosting recipe! The only change I made was to use butter-flavored shortening instead of regular. I split the frosting into two and colored one red (which took a whole tub of gel!!) and one blue, for our family's July 4th celebration. The recipe made more than enough to decorate a strawberry sheet cake with about 25 blue stars and about 13 stripes (not exact, I know! ;), as well as about 50 Mama's Sugar Cookies! Plus, we had some left over. I'll definitely be using this one again. :)
