I followed the recipe exactly, using light tofu. It turned out pretty good, except next time I will try draining the tofu all day to make it less squishy. The oyster sauce really adds a nice flavor. Overall, this is a very healthy, tasty dish!

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

These were very good! My pork chops were super thick so we had to be sure the inside was fully cooked, but the filling was delicious and the chops were pretty tender. For the little prep time and great taste, this is definetly a 5 star recipe :) Thanks!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

This is going to be my go to corn bread recipe :) I almost always have all the ingredients on hand and it was soo good! I used some slightly sour milk instead of buttermilk and it didn't make any difference. Thanks!!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM! I am amazed. Haha, this was so easy to make, and I had all the ingredients on hand. I used 2 tsp of rosemary and that was plenty. I also used a dash of dried basil and thyme instead of the italian seasoning because I didn't have any. I used by bred machine to knead the dough, then just put it on a baking sheet and baked at 375 for about 30 min. It was so good fresh from the oven and dipped in olive oil. I will definetly make this again, THANKYOU :))

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

I followed the recipe exactly. It was pretty good, I was just hoping that the chops would be more tender. We liked the extra sauce for dipping. I served this with white rice and corn on the cob.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

The only changes I made were to bake and to use dried rosemary rather than fresh. The flavor was very strong, so if I make this again I will use less rosemary. I served this over rice. The chicken was very moist..but my most picky eater wasn't begging for the last piece, sorry.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

I love recipes like this that don't need any changes. I used milk chocolate chips because that's what I had. I keep a large bag of these in the freeer and take out 2 at a time so they are always fresh. I look forward to trying this as a loaf, too.

Pickled Eggs II

I made these for my dad on his birthday. We used to get them at a bar that stopped selling them and he really liked them. I added about 3T Tabasco sauce because he likes them hot. The only trouble I had was peeling the eggs, but that's not the recipe's fault. I doubled the recipe. Beware: they have a very strong smell...

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This is just like the chicken we buy at the deli. I halved the recipe and used 1- 4 lb chicken. It cooked for 4 hours and I served with steamed carrots and stove top stuffing. I will definetly make this again! Thanks!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars

Yumm. This is like a giant cookie. If you are looking for a healthy granola bar, I would suggest using honey instead of corn syrup, but I followed the recipe exactly. The oats, nuts, and raisins do add nutritional value. These bars are soft and delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

I made these with a mix of oatmeal an crushed cracker crumbs. I just added them until the mix stuck together. I had no issues with loose burgers. I served these with baked sweet potato fries and I thought they were very good. My brother was a little bit thrown off by the texture, but he ate most of his. I will be making these again and I look forward to trying them grilled or fried.

Chicken and Dumplings III

This was a great, quick dinner. I scaled it down and used 2 chicken breasts and 1 can cream of celery. I added green pepper and onion. I cooked the breasts in chicken stock. I also added some cornstarch and flour to thicken the sauce. Thanks for this recipe, I will definetly be making it again!

Fried Pork Chop

This is a quick way to prepare pork chops. It's not a 5 star recipe, but a great weeknight meal. I served with stuffing (from a box)and frozen vegetable medley. The whole meal was done in about 30 minutes.
