I grew up with food. My dad was a "cook", he was in the Army for 20 years then he owned a restaraunt for awhile. I worked with him as a young teen and I work now work in the Food Service industry.
I enjoy cooking but I find it challenging to please the whole family. My kids are older. My son is VERY picky and my husband a diabetic. My daughter will pretty much eat most of what I make.I work both days and nights. I do cook everynight before I leave for work.This can be a challenge because not all foods hold for a long enough time.
My favorite things to cook
I like to make "concoctions". I will just open up the fridge and throw things in.

I am Italian so I follow many of the holiday traditinal foods.
My cooking tragedies
LOL I once made brownies that actually came out like corkboard. Definately not able to eat and not forgotten!
