I'm a twenty something who works the morning shift so I have all afternoon to bake goodies. It's my favorite thing to do! I love baking all kinds of cookies and baking and decorating cakes. Each time I decorate a cake I try to make it prettier than the last one and when it turns out nice after I think I totally messed it up, its a triumph! My watershed cooking tragedy happened in junior high home ec when I was in a group making wacky cake. Having baked before with my mom, I thought I knew what to do so I took over and didn't follow the recipe correctly. The cake didn't turn out and we failed the project and I knew I was to blame. I realized no matter how experienced I thought I was I still had to follow the recipe.
