My name is Deborah Rogers and I am a working mom who likes to cook quick and easy recipes. I also love to bake. I have won a few baking contests. I am married to a great guy and have a very active 4 year old son, Sean. He is my life. I also play the piano for my church and like to sing. Happy cooking everyone! Comfort foods and desserts. Cooking with my grandma is one of my favorite memories. She taught me everything there is to know about southern cooking. We also have some family recipes that will be with us forever. Like my mom's lasagna, stuffing, gravy and pumpkin pie, or my grandma's fried fish & shrimp with beans and rice. Couldn't ask for anything better! Have won 2 bake offs with a pumpkin cake and apple pie. Also won a chili cook-off. I marinated a beautiful piece of sirloin steak in just balsamic vinegar. I forgot to add a sweetener. It was aweful and the whole thing went in the trash. The dog wouldn't even eat it!
