About this Cook
I'm a college student always looking for new recipes! I am a lacto-vegetarian, and I do not eat eggs.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta... basically pasta because it's so easy. But I'm starting to branch out and I'll hopefully learn how to cook all kinds of food. Besides that, my main interest is vegan baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We make pasta for every occassion!
My cooking triumphs
I once made a mexican enchilada casserole for a party, and it was a hit! Also I make some good snow ball cookies. They aren't my own recipes, however.
My cooking tragedies
I've had many of these! Too many to count.

Vegan Brownies
Very good! This is the first recipe I have tried that has yielded positive results. I did double the vanilla extract, and I used one part oil and one part melted Earth Balance vegan margarine (because I ran out of oil). I baked them for about 38 minutes, and hey turned out very, very gooey. Next time I will use all butter instead of oil, soymilk instead of water, and will bake longer. Overall, it tastes great!!
