Easy Cheese Ball II

This was pretty good. I HIGHLY recommend to make this and let it sit overnight. When I first made it and tasted it was like a ball of salt. It sat for about 48 hrs and tasted much better when I served it. I did use colby jack because that is what I had on hand. I would use less ranch packet next time. But over all an easy appetizer.

Lobster Tails Steamed in Beer

I have never made lobster before and it was great. I used 12 oz "grass roots' from great lakes brewing company for three tails. 8 minutes was perfect. I made it for our anniversary dinner with rib eye steaks. Better than going out for dinner!!

Cream Cheese Squares

Easy and a favorite. Did not last long at a party. I melted the margarine and brushed it over the top as another review suggested. Did not use it all either. Cut the sugar to 3/4 cup as well. People are wanting the recipe!

Mimi's Giant Whole-Wheat Banana-Strawberry Muffins

These were really good! I hate making changes to recipies, but I did. Used canola oil instead of vege. Used 1 1/2c ww flour with 1/2c wheat germ. Decreased cinn to 1T and 1/2c PB sugar. Fresh strawberrys work well for us!

Sangria! Sangria!

The crowd pleaser! It vanishes everytime I make it! Only added about a tablespoon of sugar. This time I let people take it how they wanted it...over gingerale, stright up or over Asti Spumante champaigne. SOOO GOOD! Make sure you double or triple the recipe and make a day ahead.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

This was a really easy and good weekday dinner. I had a 2.5 lb eye of round and followed the recipe exactly. Turned it on at 6am and when I got home at 5pm dinner was ready. Husband ate three sandwiches! Will be a keeper!

These are pretty good! I just made them with 1/2 applesauce and oil. I did not have any of the seeds and substituted pecans and walnuts for them. Will make again! Thanks.

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

I just made this for the first time and it was really good! I had 4 cups of blueberries on hand and used them all. I added 2 tablespoons instead of 3 because I did not want it overly sweet. I had no OJ and used 1/3 cup water instead. Will make again!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I have made many apple pie recipies and never have I had so many requests for this one!! I do add cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg as others have. I cheat and use Pilsbury crusts and brush with egg wash. The Granny smiths are great in this recipe! This is how I will be making my pie from now on!
