I love food! I'm 26 & vegetarian. I love meat and have eaten it all my life, but for many reasons have decided to give it up. I've experimented with many/most regional cuisines in the past 3 years. My indulgances (good for me or not) are: wine & cheese, medium heat Indian dishes, veggie sushi, chai lattés, bubble tea, perogies, sweet potato fries, pasta and foods you can dip like fondue, nachos & guacamole! I do experiment with meat alternatives and would love suggestions! I don’t have a lot of preparation experience but I have enough time and desire to learn! I primarily prepare for myself and a guest, anymore gets a bit overwhelming at this stage. My main focus at the moment is trying to maintain a healthy eating habit while keeping variety & considering all of my personal restrictions.
My favorite things to cook
I find that I can make a bunch of meals, but I don't condiser making them as any fashion of cooking. My goal is to add more cooking to my food preparation skills! My favourite thing to make would be a broiled half tomato appetizer because they are simple, delicious and impress everyone!
My favorite family cooking traditions
asparagus roll-up appetizer, nacho dip, cabbage rolls & spinach dip.
My cooking triumphs
Broiled half tomato appetizer, meatloaf, tuna casserole w/ crumble top, easy layered Kraft Dinner taco bake & fettucini sauce.
My cooking tragedies
guacamole * asparagus tart * taco pizza * baked squash casserole.
