Lil's Yellow Squash and Zucchini Delight

I followed pettit04's advice...kind of. I added lots of pepper and some Lawry's seasoned salt. It was wonderful! I'm not a big cabbage fan, but found the flavor mellowed when combined with the zucchini, squash and onion.

Fennel in Wine and Honey

I did not care for this recipe. The bulbs were tough even after simmering for over 45min. And the honey and wine were completely overwhelmed by the flavor of the fennel.

Green Green Pasta

I have to admit, I didn't know what pappardelle pasta was so I got the spiral kind. Now I know and I've tried it both ways. This recipe is great no matter what type of pasta you use. The feta really adds just the right finish. We will be making this a regular in our home.

Roasted Beets 'n' Sweets

This recipe is probably the only way I'll ever eat beets. We get them from our CSA and I've tried beets every way possible. This is by far the best!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I followed the instructions exactly, minus the walnuts. The zucchini bread was moist and delicious! I loved the fact that the recipe makes two loaves. One to eat and one to freeze. Definite keeper.

Pace® Texas Two-Step Chicken

I made this last night exactly as the recipe instructed. It was very good. The sauce reminded me a bit of cocktail sauce but spicier and mixed well with the rice. The chicken was moist and flavorful. We will make this a regular dish in our house. I'll be curious to see what variations everyone comes up with. -Lil

Orange Chicken Stir Fry

This recipe was simple, flavorful and uses easy to find ingredients. I substituted broccoli for bean sprouts. I'm sure I will make this recipe again in the future. I would recommend using low-salt soy sauce.

Easy North Carolina Barbeque

While my husband seemed to like this, I agree with the other reviewers that said this had too much vinegar. I took the advice to use 1/2 rice vinegar but it was still too tart for my taste. It certainly wasn't what I consider barbeque. I probably won't make this again.

Mustard Onion Pork Chops

I was skeptical, but this turned out great! I had several almost empty mustard jars in the fridge so I used a combo of yellow, guldens and dijon mustards. No leftovers in our house!
