About this Cook
I love cooking, however, some of my expirements are flops, but with a few tweaks- the family loves it! I also love to redecorate. (Currently, furnishing my house) I also love gardening and landscaping. (In process of making a stone patio)
My favorite things to cook
Even though I have Puerto Rican blood, I love italian food!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Grandmother is currently STILL teaching me how to make her famous Spanish Rice. (She's such a pro, she doesn't even need to measure things- so it makes it that much harder for me!)
My cooking triumphs
The fluffy biscuits- that everyone loves...
My cooking tragedies
The fluffy biscuits that I had everyone taste- (I forgot the baking powder) They were not pleased, haha!

Southern Macaroni and Cheese
Living in South Carolina, for awhile, I've come across SEVERAL "Southern" Macaroni and Cheese recipes- none of which compare to this! This is what I remember as a kid! Although, I didn't use the full 16 ounce cantainer of sour cream- maybe about half and like other comments before mine- I am a cheese lover! The more the merrier! I used 2 cups of cheese as my starting point and added more as desired. Caught my Aunts husband scrapping the side of the dish to get the remaining fork full. Nothing was left over.

Cream Cheese Tart Shells
I followed the recipe, exactly! This had no taste, what-so-ever! It tasted like a regular biscuit with an after taste of cream cheese, that just lingered in my family's mouth, we threw out the remaining tarts. Maybe I did something wrong? But there are only a few steps, don't believe I messed it up. I will try again, but tweak it up this time, now that I know how it tastes IF I follow this recipe!

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits
I love this recipe! It's quick, simple and lives up to its name! However, I did make tweak it a bit, (I subed the wheat flour for another cup of white all-pupose flour) This is the best and pretty close to KFC biscuits! Congrats and Thank you! My Family LOVES it!
