I an engineering student at Cal Poly Pomona, so thats my life right now! I'm in Society of Women Engineers and Kappa Delta Sorority. I just moved out of the dorms (yes!) and now I'm in an apartment. So now that there is an oven and stove I want to learn how to cook! :) I would call myself a decent baker but cooking I am up for learning. I really like making pies, so any advice to perfect the crust is appreciated, and I'm always up to try a new pie recipe. Umm I dont know if we have any.. My mom is from the Philippines so sometimes she makes that kind of food but she is not big on cooking. My grandpa(dads side) told me that my grandma used to make an applesauce pie but I have yet to try it! I made lemon meringue (spelling..?) pie once, and I think it turned out pretty good. I made it for my boyfriend and his family and they seemed to like it. Too many, lol. Once I made cookies with my friend and we used garlic butter Pam Spray for the pan.. Once I tried to make Fondant and I just had BURNT disaster.. Once my friend and I made these weird cookie brownie things.. Once my friend and I were just trying to make Jello and we added powdered Gatorade to it, so it never went solid. It was soupy and my mom made us eat it.
