I love to laugh. I love to make meals for our friends and family. It is a joy, a simple act of giving something of yourself to your loved ones. Nothing but full belly's are asked in return :) Sunday dinners (I'm from the south after all). Nothing beats fried chicken, mashed potatoes with milk gravy from the drippings, collards greens and finally Grandama's fresh peach cobbler with homemade vanilla ice-cream. Don't forget the tall glass of southern sweet tea. NO meal is complete without it. My first round of homemade jellies. The first time I made mac and cheese. I was about 6 and I put too much milk in. Came up as mac soup. i was so upset because it didn't look like Mom's. The funny thing... I love my mac and cheese a little soupy. It is the only way I eat to now.
