About this Cook
stay at home Mom to a daughter with cerebral palsey. husband Mike, is a high school band director. both keep me laughing!
My favorite things to cook
i love baking! cookies, quick breads, rolls, brownies. i am learning to make bread as well. takes patience. ugh. i make dinner for my family 5-6 nights a week. cooking is my passion.
My favorite family cooking traditions
christmas cookies! my Mom's Mom got the recipe from her Mom and so forth, i think. they are always the hit of bake sales at my husbands school, and in the family.
My cooking triumphs
gnocchi that is light as a feather. my husband said he has never had 'light' gnocchi before. and my brownies. the fact that i do it everyday, with a husband who works alot and a daughter who needs to be moved from place to place, is a triumph!
My cooking tragedies
Mike says my cakes could double as door stoppers. so i hit him with one. just kidding.
