Since so many people throw a hissy when a recipe is altered on this site, I followed the directions to a tee. It was difficult because my instincts were screaming - salt - pepper - a spice - maybe an onion? So, to those of you who are creative enough to alter a recipe, thank you. Keep doing it. This recipe was awful.

I wasn't going to try this recipe because the ingredients sounded a little too odd to me. But, my husband got sick and needed to eat something healthy so I tried it anyway. I had all the ingredients except the beef stock so I used chicken stock instead. It was delicious. My husband ate 2 huge bowls. Thank you!
