Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
Only one word, YUMMY! I made these almost exactly as directed(halving the recipe), except that I melted the butter to spread on the rolled out dough and then sprinkled the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture on top. I baked at 380 degrees for 15 minutes. These are great, and worth the wait. I look forward to making these again, soon.

I have been making these for years, got the recipe from a co-worker. I make these for family parties a lot, and they are always gone in no time. Love them!!!

White Chili IV

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
LOVED IT! I thought this was great, flavors were wonderful. I made almost exactly to the recipe, changes: no rosemary or mushrooms(don't like), added 1/3 yellow pepper, and 1/2 cup milk at the end, to make it a little creamy. It was really good. I may try it over rice next time, but just as good by itself. I am looking forward to making this again, soon.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
I tried this b/c I only make 2 good pork chops recipies, always good to expand that. This will probably NOT be added to my rotation. I took others advice and used some maple syrup, did half syrup and half honey, with about 1.5 tbsp. brown sugar. It was very sweet, neither my husband or 3 y.o. liked it, I thought it was OK.

Blackened Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
I made this because my husband loves anything spicy, and boy did he like this. I halved the spices, as previously recommended, and still didn't use all of it. I pan fry for 7 minutes per side and it is perfectly done. This will be a keeper.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
Yummy! I have made this three times in the past 2 months, and always get rave reviews. I do not use the nuts, and just leave it in a bowl instead of forming a ball. It is great with the cinnamon graham sticks, although I could eat it plain.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
Just so-so. I had to use dijon mustard instead of ground(didn't have enough). I thought it was too mustardy and my husband thought it was too lemon/lime. May try it again when we can grill it.

Turkey Breast with Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
Really good! I halved the recipe for a 3 lb turkey breast and added the broth, onion and celery to the pan. It was really moist, with great flavor. It made great gravy. Thanks for the recipe.

Apple and Sausage Cornbread Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
Good, not great. I did use some apple juice, as mentioned by others, to add some liquid..which helped. I'll try it again, but with different cornbread mix. I used Jiffy and it crumbled too much.

Easy Texas Chili

Way too spicy and not enough flavor. I used less than the recommended amount of spices and it was still way too spicy. All we could taste way the spice, will not make again.

Chewy Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
Yum!!I used butter instead of shortening and skipped the water. I used 3/4 c mint choc.chips and 1 c milk choc.chips. The mint was not overwhelming the cookies, really good. Easy to make, my 2 1/2 yr.old helped. Has become a new favorite.
