Nothing much, let's see... I love the outdoors, digging in the dirt and love to cook and see everyone enjoy the meal.
My favorite things to cook
Can't think of a favorite. I just like to cook. I am forever trying new things. (My poor family) hehe
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas morning, all the family comes to my house, as they come in they can all catch the aroma of my Grits Casserole. It puts a big smile on their faces and it will stick to your ribs until Christmas dinner. One year I didn't make it and I was almost thrown out of my own house!
My cooking triumphs
I consider a "cooking triumph" when everyone gobbles down what I've cooked.
My cooking tragedies
My first Thanksgiving my husband invited several of his military friends for Thanksgiving dinner (what was he thinking?) Anyway, I worried sick that nothing would be edible, but everyone seemed to enjoy the meal until I went to cut more Turkey and pulled out the little white bag of turkey parts!
