Began cooking in my parents' cafe at the age of 10. Could run it by myself by the age of 11, if it wasn't too awfully busy. Proficient by age 12. Have always loved to bake desserts.

I prefer baking to cooking. Cookies, cakes, pies, are my specialty, but I like to do more exotic items once in a while.

Teaching small children how to bake cookies from scratch.

A cake which looked just like a real pineapple.

Tried all-new dessert recipes for Christmas a couple years ago. Everyone of them was simply awful tasting.

Famous Pork Chops
This was just OK for me. The pork chop breading became soggy on top. I tried broiling it the last 5 minutes or so, but it was too soggy to work without overcooking it. I made it as instructed, except I did not cook it as long as suggested. Good thing. They would have been way overcooked.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting
Delicious! I was a little confused about the "white sugar" because powdered sugar is usually used in frostings. I decided to use 'granulated sugar' and it turned out perfect.

Pecan Pie Bars II
Fantastically delicious! Was surprised how the two layers join together when baking the second time. Would recommend cooling the bottom layer 5 minutes before pouring on top layer. I poured mine the moment it came out of oven and it ripped into the bottom layer. Very good though!!!!!
