I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and have live in Oklahoma for the past 30 years. My parents both grew up in Oklahoma. The cooking at home always had a Southern influence.....mostly basic comfort foods.
My favorite things to cook
Seafood...especially shrimp. I start sounding like "Bubba" from "Forrest Gump' when I rattle off all of the ways I prepare it!

Steamed Clams (I never can get them tender)
