Working mom of two small children one of whom has severe food allergies. I mostly do the baking in our house. I love making things with my daughter. Baking stollen at Christmas with my mom using my great grandmother's recipe. A beautiful octopus cake for my daughter's 4th birthday. Took 3 hours to frost the darn thing, but it was well worth it when she announced that it was the most beautiful cake she had ever seen the next day. Rice. Even with a steamer I can't seem to get this right.
