Caramel Frosting V

Very good! The timing is perfect and the frosting doesn't taste like burnt sugar! Thank goodness! I did add additional whipping cream and powdered sugar when whipping the frosting after it cooled for 1.5 hrs in the refrigerator without stirring. The color is beautiful & it's made a great spreadable (not hard) frosting. Thanks for the recipe! It's great on top of my Caramel Apple Pie. :0)

Cake Batter Ice Cream

Great idea! This tasted super similar to Cold Stone Creamery's version. I have to admit, we ran out of time and had to cheat....we took a half gallon of vanilla ice cream and mixed (in batches) just the cake mix to taste. Then we stuck the glasses in the freezer to refreeze. (It got pretty melted by the time you had it mixed well). Big hit from the whole group tonight! Thanks!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Very good! I grilled these and instead of the Parmesan setting up into a crust, it stayed as a really delicious butter. Thanks! I even used some of the extra butter on asparagus as a side.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Love it! I didn't even have a candy thermometer, but with the other reviewers suggestions I could completely eyeball it and do a cold water test to create perfect toffee! I'm still working on making the perfect milk chocolate topping, since the plain chocolate chips have a dark chocolate taste. Next time I'll add more sugar and milk when I melt my chocolate. Thanks!

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

These are wonderful! I fried these in just enough olive oil to cover the bottom of my little sauce pot and continued to cook and turn them. I froze them for just a few minutes to make sure the cheese was cool and wouldn't prematurely melt! I also added a splash of buttermilk to the egg for half the water as well as a healthy shake of garlic powder into the breading mix. Very tasty & a fun side for my grilled pizza tonight! Thanks!

Pizza On The Grill I

Very good! This was really fun to make and I rolled my dough as thinly as I could so it cooked VERY quickly 2-3 minutes per side over low heat and got SO CRISPY! It was such a great thin crust...almost like a cracker. I also divided my dough in half and made two smaller pizzas so that it was easier to flip with a spatula underneath and tongs on top to guide it. I did accidently drop one of my pizzas back onto the grate while flipping which then made for 2 individual sized pizzas. I piled on sauce, as many pepperoni & sausage bits as I could fit and then covered the top in thinly shredded pizza cheese. The only sad thing was that the cheese didn't melt all the way before I needed to take the pizza off...but it smelled & tasted great!

Praline Pecans

These are the best candied pecans I've ever made. Thanks for the great recipe! If you add additional water, then it becomes a glaze, but I don't recommend it...although the taste is the same the pecans aren't as crunchy.

Key West Chicken

Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken

Needs a little tweaking, but this has more "body" than the Lemon Pepper Chicken that I was already making. Still a bit tart with the lemon flavor for me. Next time I'll use a little less lemon or adjust my marinade time.

Grilled Corn on the Cob

These were great! Super simple. Next time I'll let the corn soak in sugar water to amp the sweetness of the corn. I grilled the corn without foil in the corn shucks. I would also recommend shucking the corn outside after grilling with tongs (so you don't burn your hands) and so the charred pieces don't get all over your kitchen! Another reviewer was right, the corn silk comes right off easily after grilling! Thanks for the great recipe!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

This was great. Thanks for the tip! Made a perfect cookie cake for my hubby who isn't big on cake, but LOVES chocolate chip cookies. Our friends made me promise that this wouldn't be one of those desserts you make just once. Will make again for our anniversary! I knew it'd be good when I recognized it as the Nestle Tollhouse recipe. Thanks for the tip with how long to bake it though!
