LOVE this! Never could find a great way to make a whole chicken in the crockpot as I work 8-9 hour shifts and most chicken crockpot recipes cook for only 4 hours! This is PERFECT! I have mase this several times and have followed the directions as specified. The chicken comes out exactly as if you had oven-roasted it the old-fashioned way--but you get to skip all the hassle! My family loves it, and I have leftover chicken for the next night's supper. A working mother's dream! :)

This is perfect! Very easy, and very yummy. I made this exactly as specified, and it was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. Everyone from husband to tween to toddler were very complimentary.

Very easy, very delicious recipe. I have made this 4 times now, and get loads of compliments every time. I arrange half of the whipped topping in dollops around the outer perimeter with one big dollop in the middle. This looks lovely and lets the barely-lime green filling show through!
