Bean Burrito Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
What a great idea! This is probably the best thrown together recipe you will find. I made the sauce the same way I make my chicken enchilada sauce: one can cream of mushroom, one can green chilli, and one can green enchilada sauce. Very good, thanks for the idea!

Awesome recipe. It was a little work (breading and frying the chicken cubes)for a recipe, but the taste is great! It is sooo worth it! Try this recipe.

Mine got soggy in the sauce. Im not sure what I did wrong since I pretty much went by the recipe. The taste was good, so I would like to try again and just make the meat mixture chunkier some how

This is a very good recipe and I enjoyed having something different. I made extra sauce and served the meatballs and sauce over spanish rice. My boyfriend and I loved them!

Meatloaf Muffins

This one is great! Its way better than regular meat loaf, and its really easy. Ignore the bad reviews. The recipe calls for lean beef for a reason, so there is no grease problem. However, I have never used lean and I have also never had a grease problem. I cant believe that all these people claim to be good cooks and cant do this simple recipe, because its wonderful. Thanks!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
At first I made the sauce directly from the recipe. Then after tasting I decided to play with it a little according my tastes. I think that everyone should do that because we all have our own taste preferences. I made extra sauce so I could keep adding it to the chicken every few minutes. I took longer to cook the chicken because I did this, but it had lots of flavor. I cooked snow peas, brocolli, and pineapple bits and added to rice to make it a meal.

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
This was GREAT! My boyfriend couldn't get enough of it. After seasoning and pan frying the chops for a few minutes, I simmered 1 can of golden mushroom soup. I added the mushrooms and added some milk. I placed the chops in a deep baking dish and pour the sauce over, placed a lid on top. I perfer my pork chops to be baked in the oven completly covered by the sauce for extra tenderness. I use a simular recipe w/ cream of mush soup but this stuff is MUCH better! Doesnt look very pretty but it is the best chops our family has ever eaten.

Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
Very good. I made a very basic italian casserole and was looking for a side dish that would make dinner more fun. I used I slice bacon per mushroom. I also added crumbled beef links, only becasue I had some in the fridge and didn't want them to go bad. I put lots of the mixture on each mushroom, kept them in the oven only long enough to melt the cheese, and when they came out the cheese was melted inside and down the sides too. It was soo good.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I halved the recipe because I cook for two. Then I added a can of mixed veggies just to add a little flavor, color, and to make it go a bit further. If you plan on doing this I would add two cans for a full recipe. It was a good and cheap dinner.

Beef Stew II

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
This was a good soup recipe. I added corn, two potatoes, and four peices of bacon. Since I didn't have worcestershire sauce so I actually opted for soy sauce and A1 mixture, and it really was good. I made corn bread to go with it and it was a great cold day dinner.

Spinach and Mushroom Quesadillas

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
Good recipe. I didn't use frozen spinach, I just sauteed spinach, added spices, garlic, and mushroom. Then I put it in a bowl and mixed in corn. Usually when I made quesadillas, I just use a skillet. I tried the oven thing, and I think next time I will just do it the way I am comfortable with. Also I will probably add shredded salsa chicken. But it was an overall good recipe.

Spanish Rice Original

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
A great homemade spanish rice. Since my honey doesn't like pepper or diced tomatoes, I couldn't add either. It still came out great. I can't wait to make again when he isn't here, so I can add everything else.

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
This was good stuff. It was my first time making any homemade gravy and it came out great. I didn't use the sausage mentioned in the recipe. Since we are short on money all I had was the great value sausage, so I was nervous that I had never made gravy or used the great value. But it came out great. My boyfriend couldn't believe it was great value, and the whole breakfast was wonderful. Thanks for the great recipe, and remember that sometimes off brands work just as good when you are pinching pennies!!

Pan Sauteed Chicken with Vegetables and Herbs

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
This was just okay. I had was really looking forward to the recipe because we usually don't eat chicken (my honey doesn't like it). I think what thres it off to me was the flour so I will try it agian, just with out it. It does need extra flavor I think, but thats not why I ave it a 3- I usually spice up recipes I try. Overall a good idea, the veggies were great!

Cheryl's Spinach Cheesy Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This was very good. I was looking for something to go with italian baked chicken and this was perfect. I had some extra spaghetti sauce already made and I think the ground beef reaaly spiced it up, although Im sure it would have been fine with out it. My boyfriend wants me to make a larger version (I cut the recipe in half b/c I cook for two) and put italian sauasage so it could be a main dish!

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
Sooo good! Some of the other reviewers didn't give it a five because of spices, and I think thats just silly. Everyone has there own spice preferences. I did add extra spice, but I bet it still would have been wonderful if I hadn't. I used tenderloins because thats what I had on hand. They were great, my only regret is that I didn't make more! Great recipe!

Mom's Coleslaw

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I probably should give this five stars to be fair, because I think it was my fault that it wasnt that great. I didn't use near enough sugar, plus Im not a huge mayo fan. I will use miricle whip next tie but thats a personal preference. I added lettuce too, again a person preference. Next time I will follow the recipe better because all in all it was a good one.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
My boyfriend said that these were the best pork chops he ever had! I agreed. Im not a huge fan of pork chops, but this is a great recipe. I recomend using a smaller baking dish to allow the sauce to completely smother the pork chops. This way they are totally tender. I didn't use water at all because I wanted the mixture to be thick. I added a little more milk than what it called for and added mushroom and bacon to the gravy. Soooo good. Serve with mashed potaotes so you can put the gravy on those too! Thanks for the recipe.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
I loved this one! I never even thought of using chicken for lasagna but it was so good. I only had chicken tenderloins so I boiled them until they were done, and since I had no bullion I shredded the chicken and mixed garlic salt and a little spaghetti sauce. Im not a fan of cream cheese so I used ricotta instead and it was good. I would have given it five stars but I felt it lacked something. Next time I will add a layer of mushrooms and mabe some squash. Thanks for sharing.
