Newly married...for the second time....to a fantastic man who loves to eat and has a huge sweet tooth!! Also, have 3 little girls who tend to be picky eaters. Just starting to get comfortable in the kitchen again...and I like it!!! Any of my mother-in-law's recipes, tried and true recipes from my mama...I have a weak spot for desserts and jello salads. When my husband told me I was just as good of a cook as his mama...and most of my cooking was better. HUGE compliment considering my mother in law is the best cook ever. I felt like I needed a tiara. The fiery pound cake. NEVER accidentally substitute all purpose flour with self rising. Three fires in 2 hours. Boiling volcano of cake was in my oven...don't even ask how I got it all out.
