I love to cook and experiment with new dishes. I do volunteer work at my church. I am a farm wife with all that entails. I also am a cosmetologist. I also love to work on the computer. I love to bake. I like to do Italian and mexican and just good old country, southern dishes. I make my grandmother's pound cake and my great-grandmother's Boston cookies for the Christmas season. I make an amalgamation cake that my Mother-in-law used to make and sell. It is almost unheard of by the younger generation. I usually make it for our annual Christmas bake sale and have had people tell me to put their names down for one as early as June for the next year. I tried to make some homemade chicken and dumplings several years ago. I don't know exactly what I did wrong, but they were terrible. My dog wouldn't even eat them.
