Kris' Lentil Sausage Soup
I made this Friday night because I had a friend coming over on Saturday after we checked out some craft fairs to knit. The only thing I changed was I used turkey sausage, use one quart of chicken stock and broth. It was better the next day!

Luscious Four-Layer PHILLY Pumpkin Cake
I made this cake for the fire fighters at my brother's station. There was not ONE crumb left they loved it so much. All of them said the best part was the frosting. This was a very easy cake to make and I will be making it again tomorrow for Thanksgiving. I did not change anything in the recipe. The only thing I might do different tomorrow is chop up the pecans and sprinkle them on each layer of frosting. The caramel wasn't needed either...it was sweet enough but fun to use for presentation.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
I made this for the teachers at school. This was yummy and easy to make. I made mine with chicken breast but I put them in the slow cooker almost frozen. I didn't put corn in my soup. Instead I put two cans of homney in and it was SUPER! Also, I didn't used water, I used an extra can of chicken broth. Next time I think I will add a little more chili powder. Easy and yummy!
