This recipe is SO, SO GOOD! My picky toddler devoured this and asked for more! I used a merlot for the wine and served with white rice. Although this recipe is good as is, my personal preference... We thoroughly enjoyed the gravy in the bottom of the pan, but there wasn't enough of it. Now I add the whole bottle of wine and add some cornstarch mixed with a little bit of hot water in with the mushrooms and pearl onions the last 30 minutes. It makes enough for us all to enjoy some over our plates!
