Apple Pumpkin Muffins

Pretty good!!! Not enough pumpkin and I think I will add nuts next time. Used 1/3 flour,wwflour and wheat germ mixture. Will try applesauce next time instead of oil and cut back sugar as suggested. But as is very good hearty muffins perfect to go with eggs and turkey bacon

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Dry, not good at all. I want to try it again because so many have liked it. I wonder if I left something out. They were very cake-like. And I could not taste the cream cheese filling at all.

Banana Pancakes I

I used 1/3 c flour, 1/3 c wheat germs and 1/3 cup flour. Reduced milk to 3/4 cup and still found it to be too wet. Even lowering then temp and letting them cook longer. I will try it again with a less ripe of a banana and see if that helps. Also the banana flavor was not that great for me but it could have been the banana. Also I added chopped walnuts and I really liked that crunch in the pancake.

These were SO good, as another reviewer suggested I made with Tzatziki Sauce II recipe and served with salad no bun tzatziki as a dressing. Very good.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

NOT BAD!!!! cooked all as is except for the "dumplings" we don't like doughy soft traditional dumplings so we bought the flaky rolls from pillsbury cooked them then cut them crouton size and tossed them in right before we ate. We have made this a few times and I will make this one again.

Strawberry Kiwi Tartlets

I used the recipe for the idea and took of with my own version. I used puffed pastry in the Pampered Chef tart pan, omitted the Kiwi and Honey part. Then used a tub of Fat Free cool whip with 1/2 tsp cinnamon for the topping. I got rave reviews but I will try again.

Spinach Brownies

I took these to a church function and only got a little piece. I added a little more cheese than was suggested to use up what I had and it made them more like a quiche. BUT I got lots of compliments on them at church and they were gone in a flash!!!

Chewiest Brownies

I cant make brownies. I dont know why, but they never turn out. HOWEVER these brownies were the easiest, best brownies to make ever. This will be THE recipe for me from now on. I used Hershey Special Dark Cocoa and cut it like the other reviewers suggested. YUMMY!!!! My first 5 star review.

Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup

I roasted a chicken myself for this next time I will get a store cooked one. It was very easy and pretty darn good. I live in Japan and all of the Japanese women at church really liked it!!!!

Moroccan Salmon Cakes with Garlic Mayonnaise

Lacked flavor (cakes) and the mayo could have had more flavor and I added 2 cloves. I think I would use sour cream instead of Mayo if I made them again and make a cucumber sauce for a more greek flavor. I think I will leave out the couscous out and add lemon not orange. So it is a good idea but I would not make this recipe again. But if you do use two WHOLE eggs or they will not stick.

Asian Coconut Rice

I am giving this 4 starts because my son and husband loved it. I thought it was OKAY. I thought it tasted a but like Oatmeal and I am not a fan of oatmeal. But when I mixed it with the Chicken and Pineapple from "Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs". It was really really good. So don't serve this alone. And I added a bit more sugar.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

AVERAGE. I too had troule with the dough being too sticky and had to add flour. But the cookies puffed and were beautiful but the cookies was too "cakey" for me becasue of the flour that had to be added. These are not bad. But I have had better.

Artichoke and Spinach Swirls

Pretty darn good. Could not find puff pastry so I used cresent rolls and it was very yummy. This will be a Christmas staple for us for years to come. Re heated well the next day too!!!

Cranberry Salsa

Not bad added more peppers for spice. Tried to cut out some of the sugar that was a bad idea. Use the sugar for sure. I like this with Blue Chips, looks very pretty.
