I got this recipe from my county co-op a long time ago and it is very good!!!!!i take it to family gatherings, pot lucks, and church gatherings.

Creamed Peas and Potatoes

This is the same dish I remember my mom makeing when i was a little girl. and all my siblings andI loved it. sometimes she would add left over ham and that was really good also.

This is very much like i do short ribs. except i brown the rib in oil,after flouring them. remove and add the veggies to the pot, cook them off and then add red wine, let that cook off and then add the ribs back in and add beef broth to cover the whole thing, and into the oven it goes. for about 2 hr. at 350

Hearty Split Pea Soup

I THOUGHT THIS RECIPE WAS GREAT. AND SO EASY. I USED A BEAN SOUP MIX, BECAUSE I WANTED TO USE THEM UP. AND THE CHICKEN STOCK AND IT WAS SOSOOOOOOOO GOOD. LOTS OF LEFT OVERS WHICH I SHARED WITH MY DAD WHO LIVES ALONE NOW. GREAT MEAL I WILL BE USING THIS ONE AGAIN.
