About this Cook
I'm an American-kiwi cross. I currently live with my husband and son in rural New Zealand.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking with local ingrediants. They are inspiring! I love to use the beef, lamb, milk, eggs and veggies that we get off our land. There is nothing like cooking with fresh ingrediants. I love cooking things from scratch, making my own bread etc., and I would love to learn how to make my own cheese!

Teriyaki Marinade
Yummy! Beef turned out great marinated in the sauce. After marinating the beef in the sauce I reduced the sauce by half and then used it the next night for a stir fry!

Boiled Bagels
Easy recipe. Turned out great! Cheated and used the dough cycle on my breadmaker to make the dough. Then after boiling I sprinkled with poppy seeds. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Onion Chicken in Balsamic Sauce
Very yummy. Added 1 tsp of dijon and 2 tsp of brown sugar to sauce. Added some mushrooms in as well before baking in oven. Thickened at the end with a Tbsp of flour. Very very yummy!
