Loved this cookie!! So easy to make. I doubled recipe and put in a jelly roll pan. I added 3 cups choc chips on top and used 2 1/2 cups pecans. It made 70 squares, plenty to share and plenty for me!

My family enjoyed this dish. I liked it, but prefer my green peppers with more crunch. Next time I make it I might add the peppers later. I didn't brown the meat. I just threw it in the crock pot and seasoned it with the garlic powder.

My family loved it! Even my son's friend, a picky eater, loved it! It was a nice change from my usual onion soup mix roast. I didn't have spaghetti sauce mix, so I substituted a can of italian diced tomatoes. I also added 1 can of beef broth and thickened the gravy with cornstarch. I will be making this roast often.
