Honey Sourdough

This bread is so good. I selected the dough cycle on my bread machine, then took it out, divided it into three equal balls to make smaller loaves for my family. Then I let it rise again for about an hour, and baked in the oven for 15 minutes. It turned out well, but I think next time I will try it without the additional yeast, because it ended up rising a lot. thanks for another great recipe to use with my starter:)

Creamy Butternut Squash With Cinnamon Soup

Delicious!! Definately didn't use 1 1/2 cups of milk. Maybe about 1/2 cup. And, I didn't use all three cups of the broth either. I also used someone else's suggestion and add some diced pear. This is the PERFECT fall day soup. As we speak I am eating it, and listening to my Christmas music!!

Broccoli Cheese Soup VII

I just made this soup, and I am disappointed. I should have not added very much of the water (from the broccoli) at all. I strained off some, but not enough. My soup is watery. It looked so good before I added the broccoli and water. Oh well, if I try this again, I will add the broccoli first, then slowly add water.

Janine's Best Banana Bread

So Good!! I don't really know the number of bananas I used (because they were already mashed and frozen), but it was 1 1/2 cups worth, and mine turned out so tasty. I made muffins instead of loaves, and didn't have any burning issues.

Playgroup Granola Bars

WOW! I don't think I will need to ever buy granola bars again! I love these and so do my kids. I didn't have any vegetable or canola oil in the house, so I used 1/2 cup of applesauce and 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree. They are a little chewy, but we love them. Also, I only baked them for 20-23 minutes. They are great! THanks

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

YUM! YUM! YUM! I just made these, and they are so good. I didn't have any salsa, so I substituted BBQ sauce, and it is delicious! I also used my homemade tortillas, which also make any quesadilla so much better! Thanks for a great recipe.

Mexican Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas

This was my first attempt at making tortillas, and they were fantastic!! After reading some reviews, I substituted the shortening with olive oil. I can't wait to go out and buy a tortilla press, which will make the recipe go so much faster. Thanks for such a great recipe!!

Aaahh! Potato Soup

So easy and so good! Based on other reviews, I didn't use the au gratin potatoes, but just added extra yellow potatoes. I also added salt, pepper, and onion and velveeta cheese. Great Soup!!
