Volcano Pancake

I used half whole wheat flour and half white flour to make it a little healthier. Three of my kids loved it and two wouldn't touch it. I thought it was fantastic and tasted like french toast. Thank you for the recipe!

Ukrainian Red Borscht Soup

This was great, but I did make a few changes. I shredded the potatoes and carrots, and left out the sausage. I also added dill and caraway seeds. Even my cabbage-hating son liked it.

Pure comfort food!! My family and I loved this! I doubled all the proportions and used fat-free cream cheese, but kept everything else the same.

This is FANTASTIC! The only change I made was I used about a cup of salsa. I served it with homemade guacamole and everyone raved. I will make this on a regular basis!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs (Suan T'ien Niu Jou Po Lo La Tzu)

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Soooooo delicious! I'm a vegetarian so I used soy "meatballs." I doubled the sauce and added a bunch more veggies. The sauce was the perfect combination of sweet and sour. This was quick and easy to make and yummy to eat. Thanks for the great recipe!

Southwest-Style Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
Made per the recipe, these were bland. I think they will be much better if I had roasted poblano peppers or at least some jalapenos. I dipped them in a combination of salsa and sour cream. This is definitely a versitile recipe.

Creamy, smooth, and delicious! I added chocolate chips and it was fantastic. I stirred the ice cream after freezing for an hour and then froze it for another 2 hours. It was perfect!

I loved the cereal part. I used Special K cereal and added the butterscotch chips directly to the peanut butter mixture. I will definitely make this again, but without the chocolate.

Mexican Lasagna Chip Dip

SO GOOD!! And easy! I used soy crumbles instead of meat, but other than that, I didn't change anything. I don't know why it's called lasagna either, but so delicious. I will make frequently.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

UNBELIEVABLE!! Absolutely fattening, but worth it! The only thing I did differently was adding about 3/4 of a cup of shredded mozzerella cheese to the spread before baking. I served it with toasted slices of french bread. YUMMY!

This is fantastic comfort food! I used the tater tot crowns since they are crunchier. I also omitted the taco sauce because I forgot to buy it at the store. All around a great dish!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies were great! My family gobbled them up. I halved the recipe because I didn't have enough butter for the full recipe. I used French Vanilla and it worked really well with the chocolate chips. They were really chewy and soft. Thanks for the recipe!

Seven Layer Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
I LOVED this dip. I made a few changes, but it's wonderful! I used a 7x11 dish and I added a layer of taco-flavored soy crumbles after the beans. I also left out the scallions because I don't like them. I heated it in the oven before adding the sour cream to the top and it was delicious warm!!! I will make this dip often!

The Most Incredible Garlic Bread

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
This was fantastic! I couldn't get the oil and cream cheese to mix well, but I tried my best and smeared the mixture on a loaf of french bread that I had cut horizontally. I doubled the cream cheese mixture to cover the bread. It was wonderful! Cheesy, crispy, creamy!
