Broccoli Chicken Divan

Good, but does need extra things added to it hence the lack of 5 star. Followed other reviewers. Added more bread crumbs, salt, pepper, seasoning mix, and garlic powder. More cheese too. Came out excellent and tasty!

Macaroni and Cheese V

Tastes awesome! I made it without the bread crumbs because I didn't have any. It's tasty, the right amount of gooey, and wasn't clumpy or grainy for me. :) Would make it again.

Baked Whole Cauliflower

The topping doesn't stay on well and didn't coat evenly, but it was quite tasty. I'd probably make it again but put melted butter on the cauliflower first and then put the bread crumbs sprinkled on that. I also decided instead of steaming a whole head just to break the cauliflower down into smaller pieces and steam that way. Made it much easier.

Delicious! I'm quite pleased with how this turned out. Honestly you could use less olive oil though as in the end I had a ton of it left over. I'd make it again!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Turned out great and was really easy. I would also suggest adding a small amount of flour to thicken up the mix as it didn't cook fast enough and I ended up baking it 10-15 mins longer than it called for just to get the middle of the pie to not be "jiggly" and goopy.

Chicken Stir-Fry

This came out really well but only after adding nearly double the soy sauce and other flavor enhancers. I think if we had made it as the recipe calls for it it would've been too bland. We also added baby corn, water chestnuts, and used all fresh veggies. Would make it again for sure!

Savory Corn Muffins

Made it with salted butter but added no extra salt. Then I added double the sugar. Followed directions otherwise. The muffins were fluffy and came out well, but they still weren't really THAT sweet and a tad on the "tasteless" side. I probably would add more sugar next time but otherwise a super simple recipe.

Golden Pork Chops

Cooked exactly as described and I think I shouldn't have added water to the condensed mushroom soup. I don't think you were supposed to, but I didn't know any better. They were tasty and the sauce was good over mashed potatoes, but I would probably do what others did and brown them on a pan with spices since they were a tad bland. Will probably try again in the future though since they were super easy to prepare for a college student.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

It's delicious! I halved the recipe for myself so I could have leftovers. It's also great on a college budget. :) I added a little bit more onion than called for, but followed the rest of the recipe. If it gets too thick at the end you can add a tiny bit of water and it goes back to normal. I will make this again in the future for sure!

Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Very good recipe! I used a little less sugar and it tasted fine. I also substituted butter with margarine and I used soy milk instead of half and half because I'm lactose intolerant. It's quite tasty! :) I'll make these again for sure because they were so very easy to make.
