Im Puerto Rican but not your average hispanic eater (I hate red meat). Im an artist I from what I think and every one else says Im a damn good cook. I like making one pan meals (I hate doing dishes) but breakfast and dessert are my specialties. Strawberry shortcake has become a trademark for birthdays and bbq's and Im starting to think that all the invites to the holiday parties are really for my pineapple upside down cake :) but I dont mind. Oh and I make the best sandwiches in the world!! And yes. . I will accept challenges on that! I love making my mom and grandmothers recipes. Were hispanic so rice is a big staple and I like fining new things to do with it. Im not much for red meat so finding new and interesting ways to deal with chicken and fish is always fun. My sister and I make "concoctions" We didn't have a lot growing up so we always had to try and piece things together with what ever was there. Some times it came out great and some times. . .not so great. Its our own special thing and we love seeing what comes out.
