Croutons
These were good, but the powdered seasoning makes it taste a bit artificial to me. Straight butter without the seasoning might be better. I also did a batch with more olive oil than butter with very difference taste results (obviously), but still the same good crunch.

Butternut Squash Layer Cake
Finally a great squash dessert recipe! People enjoyed eating this cake (with cream cheese frosting). The texture of the cake was wonderful - perfect - and I even added an extra 3/4 cup of winter squash. The reason this is not 5 stars is that the maple doesn't provide the intensity of flavor I like. I added 2 t. pumpkin pie spices and that still was too bland - next time I will double that amount. I did not do the brown sugar frosting.

Spaghetti Squash I
I can't believe this was spaghetti squash! So good! I used to serve spaghetti squash with a marinara sauce and parmesan - it was tolerable, but this was amazing! The feta cheese, garlic, olive, tomato combo works wonders. Our basil is done for the season so I used fresh parsley -- still tasted great.
