About this Cook
Owned by a wonderful, hardworking, sexy man, a handful of wonderful, yet crazy, daughters, a gorgeous grandaughter, and one handsome grandson. Don't like being scratched behind the hearing aids, or patted on the head. Favorite chew toy - cigarettes *guilty grin* hey, there's no calories!
My favorite things to cook
I'm a pastry chef by trade, signature dish - Triple Chocolate Pecan Melt Cake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sunday Brunches! Taking every leftover dinner scraps (spaghetti, baked ham, creamed peas, etc.) and topping them all off with homemade crepes, scrambled omlette, and a whole lotta bacon and sausage.
My cooking triumphs
Having had a choux paste swan auctioned off at $50 at a charity dinner when they started fighting over the last one LOL
My cooking tragedies
Ten years old. My first solo at baking. Without instructions - recipe card was lacking! Didn't knead! Didn't rise! Just mixed and baked! The neighbours ice rink melted away the next spring revealing still perfectly formed dinner buns which were BURIED in the snowbank surround. Apparently they decided to use them as hockey pucks as even the dogs couldnt eat them.
