This is a really good chili recipe! I didn't change a thing. It also made my house smell wonderful while it was cooking. My neighbors asked what I was cooking! Definitely a keeper!

These were excellent! The only thing that I did differently was I used butter flavored shortening instead of butter, I didn't feel like waiting for the butter to soften. They turned out wonderfully, this recipe has replaced my old stand-by cookie recipe.

I used the allrecipes calculator to double this recipe and made as written. They turned out wonderfully moist and delicious! The bits of apples are a nice surprise! I took them to work the following day and they were even better, my co-workers raved! The only thing that I might add (not that they need it) would be a little drizzle of cream cheese flavored bakers icing on top. Thanks for the fabulous recipe, I will make for many falls seasons in the years to come.
