Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
So this is great!! I make it every Sunday for football. Who Dey! I dont like these with crackers though. I take pita pockets and tear them up into cracker size bites place them on a cookie sheet. Then I drizzle a little EVOO on top and bake them @ 350 til they are crunchy around the edges! (about 8-10 minutes) It is GREAT!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
Good. I didnt change a thing. I really like cheese and I think that all that milk really takes away from the yummy cheese flavor so instead of adding more cheese and more calories I would just cut way back on the milk. Next time I will probably only use about 1 cup milk, it will be less sauce but there is already SO much that it wont be missed!

Pleasant Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
This is good! I gave it only four stars because I don't think it is worth all the time it takes preparing it. I really like the onion sauce that goes over it but I would rather just make that and pour it over oven baked or fried chops.

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

These were great for my son to make. We used butter yellow cake mix with half Andes pieces half semisweet chips. It is a great recipe for kids and doesn't taste too bad.

This was good! I used less cheese and it was still VERY cheesy. I give it a 4 because it wasn't bad but I am still going to continue looking for that tuna casserole that is ammmmazing!

My first time making whipped cream!! It was so smooth, I never want to buy pre-made again! I used it with the white hot chocolate recipe from this site with crushed up peppermint on top!

Snow Flake Cocoa

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
Mmmm! I love white chocolate so I had to try this recipe!! I did add 3 crushed up candy canes to the mix to give it a peppermint flavor! The candy canes need to be almost grinded to turn it into a powder so you don't get alot floating around!! Yum yum! Thanks Diana ?

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
So this is the recipe I use all the time except I use good ricotta instead of cottage cheese, 1 egg instead of 2, add 1/2 pound chopped FRESH spinach and 1 clove minced garlic instead of powder. I also put extra mozz cheese on top cover with aluminum foil bake 40 minutes, remove foil and bake until cheese is nice and bubbly. Putting the foil and extra cheese on top prevents the shells that aren't covered from the sauce from getting crispy.

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
OMG!! I used red potaoes and didn't peel them bc I like the skin. I used 2 cups chicken broth and 5 milk. I used more cheese than called for too, probably about 2 cups. I also added a bunch of spices like Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and red pepper flakes to taste and also ALOT of dill weed. I like thick soup and this was great. I think it tasted like O'Charley's potato soup but my friends said it tasted even better than theirs so kudos to Sherry for creating it!!

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
Wowser.. I got my family who do not eat sweet potatoes to eat this!! I halfed the recipe and used canned yams to make it faster (29oz and a 15 oz) 1/3 cup butter and brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 cup marshmallow in the mix and enough on top to cover and 8x8 dish! I will make every thanksgiving from now on but I won't be able to half it anymore... the family will want the whole recipe!

Country Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
This was good. I scaled it up to 12 people and used only 1/2 cup butter. I like my green beans soft instead of crunchy so I used a can of chicken broth in the pan and filled water up to where it was almost covering the beans. I then let it come to a boil then reduced to simmer for about 4 hours! Perfect! Thank you for the recipe!!

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
I thought it was great so did all of my family! It was the best dish of the day! I am just sorry I don't have any leftovers! I used a whole bag (2 cups) of cheddar and cream of celery. I used no salt and just a dash of pepper and worcestershire sauce for a kick. I poured the 3 T melted butter on top of the crushed ritz crackers (not croutons) and it was done in about 25 minutes. Not only will I be making this for every holiday dinner but I will be making it lots and lots in between also! Thank you so much for this recipe!!

Cheesy Ranch New Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
So this was good but it was sooooo rich. I made it the casserole way with sharp cheddar. It was a little to much ranch... I just added enough to coat the potatoes. Added bacon and green onions.

Jalapeno Popper Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
**The filling oozes out alot so make sure you secure it good and tight so all the yuminess doesn't escape** This was sooo good. The filling did taste just like a jalapeno popper, I love those so I didn't need to add anything to the filling to make it better! I used sliced jalapeno's out of a jar. I also tossed the chicken in an egg wash before breading it and threw in some red pepper flakes to the bread crumbs! Easy and good-will make again!
