I love to try new recipes. I usually have a main ingredient in mind and search for recipes that I would enjoy. It is just my daughter and me, so I don't cook as much as I would like. I would like to cook food that we both enjoy.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook traditional foods on Sundays. Seafood has always been a main staple in our home. I recently discovered that I am allergic to gluetin, so I am trying many new recipes. I am trying to find something as close to bread as possible. I have found recipes that are great in taste but are as hard as rocks.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My daughter loves asian foods. I love cajun and seafood. My daughter is a little more on the vegetarian side. She eats meat at times but usually skips it altogether.
My cooking triumphs
I have made some great tortellini and manicotti recipes. I have a fantastic crabmeat soup that my family always requests. My latest triumps are asparagus and squash dishes.
My cooking tragedies
I used to burn boiled eggs! I have come a loong way. I am no chef by any means but enjoy trying new dishes. I am not good at cooking artichokes. I have succomb to buying them in a jar!
