Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars
Brilliant! This recipe is so simple, yet so perfectly delicious! Whoever thought this one up deserves an award! The bottom crust is merely apple crisp topping pressed hard and moulded into the pan, followed by melted jam, and topped with more apple crisp topping. (for 'crisp' lovers, this recipe is a dream!!!!) Whoever suggested lining the pan with greased tin foil: Good thinking. While I didn't have too much trouble getting the tin foil off the edges where the jam seeped through, I could imagine if a greased pan without lining were used, it would have been a nightmare! Great recipe! Will make again!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler
This recipe was very good (my first cobbler), only I don't think I am a 'double crust' cobbler person. There was too much dough and not enough filling (even though I followed other poster's advice and used more peaches). The bottom crust also stuck to the baking pan even though it was well greased. Perhaps the use of a ceramic dish was the culprit? The filling and top crust were delicious, (didn't have orange juice on hand, so I made without, and used only 3TBSP butter) I would make this recipe again, for sure, but next time I will only put a top layer of crust, and double the filling.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
These were not the BEST cookie, though they were pretty good. I followed recipe exactly: They weren't crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, nor were they cakey. It was bizarre, I suspect due to the higher amount of flour. One reviewer mentioned they were like chips ahoy, and thats exactly how they were...Not cakey, not chewy, but strangely uniform throughout the entire cookie (I wouldn't use chips ahoy as a model for a good cookie-they're not that great) The dough part was not too sweet, but there wasn't an overpowering taste of flour, either. Another poster mentioned they didn't spread in the oven. No, they didn't, and pressing the batter down a little helped the second sheet look more like a cookie. They were edible, but lacking in familiar taste and texture. Will not make again.
