About this Cook
Really enjoy cooking , have only gotten into it more lately since my schedual permits it more now. Love to try new things and tweek recipes to suit my taste. Mostly only cook for 2 but most everything I cook yield much more.
My favorite things to cook
Tuna casserole, saussages in tomatoes and onions, soups, stews and sour cream muffins
My favorite family cooking traditions
In my family we were never big on sugar and a little short on coin sometimes s o this made for very interesting cooking. we always used rolled oats with our hamburgar meat ( it stretches the amount, fills u more and stays juicier ) as well as my mom loved to half sugar everything so that make me search for recipes that half sugar as well.
My cooking triumphs
my own version of cauliflower soup( almost a stew ) and my tuna casserole
My cooking tragedies
tried to make a sugar pie but it never congieled ( stuck together ) the best filling ever just ran all over the place !

Brazilian Black Bean Stew
MADE THIS RECIPE BUT DIDIN`T HAVE ANY HAM BUT DID HAVE SOME LEFT OVER PORK LOIN. THE RECIPE TURNED OUT GREAT DESPITE THE LACK OF HAM. WILL DEFFINATELY MAKE AGAIN BUT THIS TIME WITH HAM I AM SURE IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER. PLEASE NOTE THIS RECIPE TASTES MUCH BETTER THE NEXT DAY ONCE THE FLAVOUR HAVE HAD TIME TO MESH TOGETHER.

Mainely Fish
first off let me say my rating has nothing to do with taste , it tasted fine however it was pretty bland . The tomatoes got soggy and the capers well tasted like salt only. The fish was cooked to perfection and as for beauty of presentation it was indeed pretty and colorful. I say to all you want to try go ahead just dont prepare yourself as I did for an explosion of flavours or you like me will wonder how to rate this recipe !

Oven Fried Chicken III
made this chicken for the first time and yes it is oh so tender and juicy, great recipe for people who love fried chicken but don`T like to fry things. Also my only change to this recipe is that I used chicken drumsticks and not a whole chicken. To everyone hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I have
