Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares

These were surprisingly good! Quick, easy and tasty. Can't really go wrong. Mine were a little flat, so they got a tough and chewy, the fatter ones were great, though. Followed the recipe exactly, would probably make them again, too. Thanks!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
I started making these prior to reading all the reviews...I must say, a lot of people managed to mangle them. These were actually pretty impressive, though I strayed and split the sugar between white and brown. They weren't gritty, they didn't burn on the bottom and they weren't excessively oily like I was afraid they'd be.(I even greased my first sheet!) But I wouldn't recommend them if you aren't a huge fan of peanut butter. ^_^

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

This turned out really good!(despite my lack of thermometer.) I highly recommend it, even for the not so experienced candy makers. (Warming the tray in the oven prior to dumping the mix on it helps to spread it around before it hardens)

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

These turned out AMAZING when whipped profusely. I did make them without the electric mixer the first time, and though they were crumbly, they were still awesome. I'd highly recommend them for holidays or anytime you're in the mood for some quick and delicious cookies.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
Seriously, there is no need to stray far from this recipe. I sifted the flour only once, added a teaspoon of vanilla and left the batter thick (not lumpy!). I like to let my batter sit ten minutes, but when you have a 2 1/2 year old tugging at your pants, there's not much more than 3 minutes to wait. They turned out PERFECT. They are light, fluffy and just phenomenal. I highly recommend them.
